Years ago I got those shots where they go to certain areas and inject some med. ..but they hurt like hell! I mean it just hurts to press on my skin gently, and they want to put a needle in me. That's why I tried acupuncture only once. I also had a couple injections in my lumbar area when my sciatica got so bad I couldn't move. Those did help me for awhile.

Hi Brooke yes I had the injection the doctor had to guide it with the ultrasound scan and it was so pain full I was crying he really hurt me so I said I would never have the injection ever again I would rather put up with the pain ? Hope you are well at the moment take care hun

Right? The 1st 2 times i got the injections, it was uncomfortable, but tolerable. And then i found i didn't have to wear a patch. Then, one time he did injections down 1 side, then the other.... Yeah one side hurts like really bad, and i bawled my eyes out, while trying not to move.. I figured it out when he did it the next time and alternated. Unfortunately, the relief really is minimal, if any at all, so it isn't worth it. Back to lidocaine patches.

@A MyFibroTeam Member Hello and welcome 👋 I had an injection and was pain free in the injected site (only) for exactly one month...that being said yes I guess I would say (tpi) helped with pain in the injected area, however only for a short period of time...Best of wishes, Hugs and Prayers to you 💜💐
