Staying Focused
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have trouble focusing on things like reading or concentrated on anything. I used to read alot and now even an article is difficult. Brain fog? Or am I losing my mind?!? 😱
Anybody deal with this?

You are not losing your mind. It's "Fibro Fog". Things aren't too clear. Keep 0 your brain, make it think. Don't use it, you will lose it. I found a fantastic game in the Google play store. Word Wise. I can not begin to say enough good things about it. I don't like crossword puzzles but this is great. I love it a play all the time. It's free and you don't have to keep buying points or chips to keep playing. I was playing when Dr entered the exam room. He told me that's great and I bet you know exactly how bennifical that is. Give it a try, it's fun. Explore up at the top. Words and for sure and possible words. I needed some Q words.

Constantly! If I'm in a flare it's much worse, but in the last few years I have found it more difficult to study, concentrate and remember information. Sometimes trying to think of words is so much effort! I used to worry I was losing my memory, now I know everything is still in there but it's just harder to get to sometimes. I find that a low gluten diet and taking magnesium supplements has helped me, but I don't know if that would work for everyone

Yes I listen to audiobooks sometimes but it goes in one ear & out the other so I need to play over again to comprehend.
I did have a fractured skull & was in a coma as a kid and lost some memory. I had to relearn alot. Got it back but brain fogs comes.

I do but it's mainly ceased now. I bought cellfood on Amazon and it gave me energy and less brain fog. I've seen other people mention it too. Something about increasing oxygen in the body helps. I swear buy it! I noticed chlorophyll does it too. Good luck dear!
