Members shared mostly positive experiences with trazodone for sleep, with several reporting it helped them fall asleep and stay asleep, and one member calling it the best sleeping medication they've used in over 40 years. Several members mentioned practical dosing details, ranging from 100mg to 200mg, with one person noting it may take adjustments to find the right dose and encouraging open communication with doctors about effectiveness. A few members experienced downsides, including next-day sluggishness lasting half the day, feeling hungover, or in one case an allergic reaction, though many emphasized that when it works, it works well.

Just started about 2 weeks ago. Love it. So happy. Old tried and true. You may need adjustment to have right dose so don't hesitate talking to doc.

I could not tolerate the side effects. It made me feel as though I had been on a drinking binge. I am taking Phenergan to help me sleep. No side effects and has the added benefit of stopping the itching that is either caused by the fibro or tramadol-dunno which.

I used to be on Trazadone and it does help but my situation became much worse so I was switched to something much stronger
