The only reason I'm asking is because I've read (several times) that statins MAY cause problems with movement and fatigue. Wondering if any statin users are having problems?

Members shared mixed experiences with statins, with several reporting significant joint and muscle pain that improved after stopping the medication, while others have taken statins without any noticeable side effects. A recurring theme was the challenge of weighing the serious risks of untreated high cholesterol against potential medication side effects, especially for those with hereditary cholesterol issues that remain high despite diet changes. Many community members emphasized the importance of researching medication side effects independently, communicating openly with doctors about symptoms, and making informed personal decisions based on individual circumstances and family history.
