Members shared a wide range of experiences with mindfulness, meditation, and CBT for managing pain, with many finding these practices helpful for improving mood, reducing anxiety, and coping with discomfort even when pain itself remains. Several members recommended specific resources including guided meditations from Glenn Harrold, Jason Stephenson, and YouTube channels featuring delta waves or healing frequencies, as well as the free online PainTrainer.org course from the University of Melbourne that teaches relaxation and cognitive techniques. A recurring theme was that CBD oil emerged as a popular complementary tool, with members reporting success using it orally for sleep and neuropathy relief or topically for targeted pain, though experiences varied widely and finding the right dosage and quality product proved essential for effectiveness.

Me too. Biofeedback training, meditation, tai chi, yoga, sensory deprivation tanks, guided imagery tapes, cbt off and on for 40+ yrs. it all helps. A lot.

I have been listening to meditation tapes on You Tube, tapes is probably the wrong way to say it but I'm not sure what to call them. I listen to Marianne Williamson, Louise Hay and a fellow called Jason Stephenson who does sleep meditations. I think these have helped a lot. I started off by searching for Healing Meditations.

Since I fractured my back in April, I have been meditating more. I was ending up on the bed on ice packs to ease the pain, but was getting antsy since it was many times a day. Meditation helps me alot when I get that way. Often I fall asleep, so I will set my music to go off in 30 minutes which wakes me up. I seem to meditate better if I do tia chi first.

I started taking CBC hemp oil 5000 mg. Stopper full. I take in the am because I can't sleep if I take at night. It has completely taken away my fibro. No body ache, no stiffness, no flair ups. I am so happy , every day is a good day. It has no side effects. Maybe I take large doses and that's why it works. Good luck all.
