Yes! I swear, I thought I was imagining it. These doctors sure make you feel like a hypochondriac.

I found this thread because I was looking to see if anyone had the same experience. Mine is like a very distant buzzing/humming/vibrating noise more than a physical sensation. Like someone hid a vibrator under five mattresses directly below my head. I notice it most at night if I wake up - I think because it's quiet and I'm lying still. It goes on and off with no discernible pattern, which keeps me awake more than the buzzing itself, which is so faint I might not notice if it if it didn't stop and start like that.

Hello! Yes, I am having this now. I typically get it in my hands and feet. It was worse in the beginning and would run from my forearms down to my finger tips or from my shins down to my toes. I call it a humming or buzzing under the skin. It literally makes me feel like I want to crawl out of my skin. I had it. I've had every test under the sun done and the doctors say "pathologically they cant find anything" yet they refuse to say fibromyalgia is the cause. The only thing that ever made me feel better was a high dose of steroids (the dose pack where you start off with 6 pills per day and then taper down) but the minute the dose pack was completed, I went right back to feeling like garbage. I know autoimmune diseased are classified by the fact that you make antibodies, etc but I swear I feel like Fibro is a immune inflammatory type response. But yes, you are not alone. Mine, however, is not worse at night. Mine seems to be worse when I've been up and moving around but honestly, I cannot even really pinpoint a pattern. I have literally kept a log since it started that included everything down to the food I was eating to the damn weather. Nothing. Zip.Zilch. Nada. The only thing that makes them go away is if I move my body part that is being affected. They are quick little zings of humming too. Not constant
