My first 17 years with fibro was about fatigue and lots of muscle pain. These last 8 years saw the arthritis element added-SI joint, shoulders, knees, hands, feet.

Members shared their experiences navigating the overlap between fibromyalgia and arthritis, with many describing how osteoarthritis developed years into their fibro journey and seemed to trigger additional pain. Several members found relief through Arthrotec, though some could only tolerate lower doses due to gastric side effects, while others emphasized the importance of staying active to prevent joints from seizing up and considered mobility aids like scooters when walking became difficult. A recurring theme was the challenge of distinguishing between conditions that may have coexisted for years, with many members expressing relief at finally having answers after enduring escalating pain and fatigue through their 30s and 40s.

I have lots of arthritis in my legs, hands, fingers, back all over really! Keep active is my advise else your bones will seize up! Maybe get a disability scooter. I'm in the process of thinking about getting one as I can't walk very far!

I've had arthritis for a very long time and it's getting worse but I think I might have had that before fibro.

I wonder how it works long term. I don't love the side effects.
