Members shared their experiences with marijuana for symptom relief, with many reporting significant benefits including immediate pain reduction, relief from nausea, improved sleep, and help with anxiety, though effectiveness varied depending on the form used (smoke, edibles, oils, or transdermal patches). Several members described practical approaches like CBD oil for anxiety without psychoactive effects, strain selection for specific symptoms like migraines, and transdermal patches that provided extended relief lasting over 30 hours. A recurring theme was the frustration of living in locations where marijuana remains illegal or restricted, with members expressing hope for legalization and greater access to alternative pain management options that pharmaceutical medications have failed to provide.

Have smoked flower for a long time tried adding oil and edibles timchers it helped till it wore off . I have a list a mile long of pharmaceuticals that were prescribed. Was at a loss for relief. Had read a transdermal medical marijuana patch cbd thc 1:1. I tried it two days ago. Felt some lessening pain with in a 30 minutes. At a hr the pain was intense. But then I positioned myself for sleep. I slept all night without having any pain or hot flashes. Woke up with 0 symptoms. No pain even showered without it exhausting me or feeling fibreglass feeling. Went 33 hrs without any pain or symptoms. What a awesome feeling to experience no symptoms even for a little while. .

@A MyFibroTeam Member, good luck with the oil. I tried the tincture (CBD), which was supposed to be good for the pain, but I was terribly disappointed.....darn.

yes! it helps me significantly! unfortunately, even though it is recreationally legal here in california, if you work in healthcare it is frowned upon and you could be denied a job or fired with a positive screening. so i do my best to stay away even when i know it works miraculously. :(
next i want to try just plain CBD oil, but i am pretty sure i will be disappointed

I use CBD oil medi pen helps with my anxiety living with the pain but not actually the pain . I've been looking into cannabis but scared to try it as it's not legal in u.k very tempted to say to my doctor that I'm close to trying it. I'm gonna try CBD 100% hemp oil drops for under the tongue at some point good thing about CBD oil is it's not got the stoned affect so no one would guess you take it . Has only the health benefits not the psychosomatic side . Got to be very careful if have mental health issues . I hope one day it's legal so can get the proper pain relief to manage a day in my life .
