Does Anyone Get A Burning Headache But It Is Only On The Centre Of The Top Of Your Head ?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I ask because I have been having a burning sensation on the top of my head which is quite painful. It is as if a hot coal has been placed in that position. Ice pack dulls it a bit but it is not enough relieve. If anyone has the same please let me know what helps but most importantly does it happen normally with fibromyalgia? thanks

I experience a wide variety of headaches. The centralized top of the head pain, for me, is usually linked with dehydration and poor breathing, though spine realignment sometimes also helps. Since fibro is a cluster of symptoms is could easily be related, but you still might have to use trial and error to find a treatment that works for you. Good luck. See if more water, deep breathing, and a back massage/ spine realignment helps.

No problem, I had 9 weeks of hell trying different things before getting reffered to a neurologist. I was given antibiotics, nasal sprays. Then when I saw the neurologist he tried to say it was pain killer induced migraines which my GP had already ruled out as I hate taking pain killers and wasn't taking any as they didn't help my hand pain or the headache. I was then sent for an mri scan which was clear but showed white lesions which are common for people with migraines, I've never even suffered with headaches before so this was a bit of a shock. But nothing I can do about it. Hope you get some relief soon x

I was diagnosed with chronic migraines and I get pains, stabbing, burning, fizzing, and all sorts of pains and sensations all over my head. Some times for a few seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, or as the case has been unfortunately years. As the migraine I currently have I've had since September 2015 and only got rid for 10 days in February this year and now it's back. Some days it hurts to lean my head on things other days I can't hold my head up and other day which are very difficult to deal with it can't lean or lift my head I have to work out which is less painful and go from there. X

Hello hope you are feeling much better. I experience the same headaches. Also there are times when the top of my head is too tender to touch and my teeth feel alive, as if all the nerve endings are raw.
