My Question Is About Sex And Everything That Comes With It. How Do You All Get On With It

My pain with fibro and a slipped disc and OA, i also have an emotionally unstable personality disorder and depression, sex is the last thing on my mind but my partner wants to have it a lot, my sex drive is zero which i think is partly due to side effects of my medication but also down to the illness, this causes bad problems within our relationship, has anyone got any ideas on how to tackle this problem.

I understand where you are at, and I would say this 'how good are your acting skills?'

I have found even when I don't think I want it or feel up to it...usually if I just go with it, it take my mind off the pain and the end result is good :-) Its a must for a healthy relationship. Keep your head up your going to get threw this. xoxo

Ask your doc about meds, there might be something different that doesnt kill your libido. You also need meds to get pain under control. My hubby and I have an agreement. He gives me the cuddles and other stuff i need, i give him sex even if i don't feel like it. I only tell him no when im in extreme pain, and he understands.

Girls, who has a sex drive when they are constantly in pain! I am so happy that some of us are lucky enough to have such understanding partners. I had one, who dumped me claiming my hypochondria made him fall out of love. The me who, planned to use me to support him and his kids while he cheated. And one who was manic/ depressive but untreated. Life with him was wonderful one minute and terrifying the next! Now I am learning to survive on my own. You just have to make life livable! If you have supportive love, respect it, enjoy it, and celebrate it! I haven't given up. When I am supposed to find it, I will. At 60 years old, I haven't given up!

My partner is fantastic but I know he must be frustrated at times..I just have no libido whatsoever..he works away so when he's home at the weekend it's something I know he looks forward too but it's the last thing on my mind..so you aren't alone.im not sure whether it's my medication or just the fact that come bedtime I'm like a zombie who falls asleep within minutes
