Yes... some that make you want to blow your head off. I find that my blood pressure doesn't even have to be high for my head to hurt. Reducing stimuli helps. I turn off the lights except one low one, eliminate sounds and maybe put on some lavender in the diffuser or put on my collar. Sometimes I have to sit in a dark, quiet place with a cool rag on my eyes for a few minutes. What works the best is having my hubby play with my hair. Him rubbing my head and brushing my hair relaxes me. When he is not around, I do it myself.
So you have to find what makes you relaxed. Not everything works for everyone. I hope you find what you need and you feel better soon dear.
I take bad migraines and have tried loads the only thing that works for me at the moment is carbamazepine and paracetamol when I take them ave got to lie in a dark room hope this helps God bless hugs.
I did daith piercings also et they have helped I'd say at least 25%. I suffer a lot from cluster so nothing helps those. And if I feel a reg. one coming i'll try ice packs to forehead, Toradol et companzine. Seem to help so far. Daith piercings I did in both ears et actually I use to always have plugged up nostrils esp. more so with migraine opened nostril right up. still get plugged occ. d/t allergies et have nasal spray for that. Hope you find something that helps. God bless et hugs
I suffer from migraines and have done for years. I take prolanalol to prevent them but it doesn't always work sleep is the only thing th at is 100% relief, if I can get to sleep. I cant really function when I have one the light is a killer and I vomit because the pain is so intense, I usually take a zopiclone or two to knock me out if I if I do vomit because it usually exhausts me.
Yes, I have migraines, cluster headaches, and tension headaches. I've had tension headaches for about a month now. I've been bedbound for weeks now. sucks. I get botox for my migraines, That has cut them down to maybe one or two a month, from 20+. The others they cannot do anything about.
I just read something about a Chiropractic Neurologist that has been able to help with different types of headaches and back pain. Google them, interesting.
But try both medicinal and non for relief. Dark, some light music, some smells help, Meditation, hot bath, or shower, massage etc. Everyone is different.
