Good information @A MyFibroTeam Member I was diagnosed with costochondritis over 15 years ago, I thought I had a broken rib.....not fun. It does flare up from time to time.

I have Costochondritis and have days where it feels like my ribs are on fire. The pain is very debilitating and taking a deep breath hurts like crazy. Wearing a bra is out of the question and I usually cannot handle the pain from that. I have started wearing camisoles with the soft built in bra as it does not cause me as much pain.

Thanks for the link, Moreen. I always like to read articles about fibro but never heard of costochondritis....interesting article. There are so many conditions linked to fibromyalgia - a real pain isn't it!Thanks again and a good day to you.

I had a bone scan in 2007 as I was in absolute pain that I couldn't breathe! Early stages of my FM & CMP diagnosis. I was doing a 6km walk every morning and instead of becoming fitter I was in more pain and agony to the point of collapse. After 5 months "no pain no gain" was just not for me. Not until 2013 when I was diagnosed did I realise I was doing exercise and did a lot more damage than I should have. The bone scan was clear. It was just such a bad few years I Never Ever want them back!I really thought I was dying. ..
