B12 And Iron Deficiency
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi all I've been seeing hematology for about two years now and over the past year I've been diagnosed with gastritis. This makes it hard for me to digest and retain Iron or B12. Does anyone else have these issues if so do they ever come to a conclusion or certain diagnosis. Thanks for ur time hugs to all

I used to be anemic but after the gyno surgery I am ok now. I suffer from chronic gastritis. I am not aware this effects my B12 levels. They have not been abnormal in any of my blood tests.
Recently I have added a B12 supplement as it helps with stocking/glove neuropathy pain (pins and needles, burning sensation in your hands and feet) Hope this has helped, take care. ☺

I have issues with my B12 levels as well. I have to take supplements to keep it at a normal level.
