What do you do when your pain levels are too high to do much of anything?

Talk to a friend on the phone, practice imagery, watch TV, listen to a broadcast and take a hot epsom salt bath. Good luck!

I take an extra pain pill and rest. Then usually in a hour or two I tend to feel better. I assume you are working with some type of medical professional, if not, get one.

Find something to take your mind off the pain. Watch a funny movie on Net Flicks. Read a funny Garfield comic, do NOT sit at home and dwell on it, this just makes it worse. Go volunteer at a school, animal shelter, pregnancy center, food bank, etc. find something to take your mind off of it. If you are not being treated for depression, along side if your fibromyalgia... go seek a counselor that is familiar with chronic pain. Best of luck and gentle 🤗
