Members shared a wide range of strategies for managing restless leg syndrome, with many finding relief through prescription medications like ropinerole, Requip, gabapentin, tramadol, and muscle relaxers, while others discovered that addressing underlying issues such as low iron or sleep apnea made a significant difference. Several members recommended practical at-home approaches including hot Epsom salt baths, calf stretches, walking or treadmill use before bed, massage, topical creams, and supplements like calcium with vitamin D. A recurring theme was the trial-and-error nature of finding what works, as restless legs can stem from different causes and respond differently to various treatments, with encouragement to work closely with doctors to identify the root cause and appropriate solution.

And a good bit of ropinerole. (A Parkinson's Rx). It took a while but it worked. I keep a supply next to my bed and take a little of each whenever the RLS acts up. It does a good job.

@ Linda bollenshaw. I was out of town when it hit. My whole body was involved. I couldn't keep my body from jumping around. My husband took me to the local ER. The Dr gave a shot of lorazepam andA
