In What Way Does Your Partner Support You When You Cant Do Anything And Pain Is Great?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Dear friends, in what way does your partner ready to help when you have bad days? Can you rely on him? Do you have someone who can come and help you with your activities?
(laundry, washing and etc).

I don't have a partner. I have a boarder who helps out around the home and is very relaxed around housework. Cleaning the bath is his task for sure. I keep my home tidy and clean, but I certainly cannot keep it as I used to, and I'm okay with that. I do what I can each day and give thanks that I'm able to do what I did. I've found that if I do a little each day, the chores do not become a monstrous task. There are times when I cry because I'm unable to something that I used to do, and I allow myself to cry and ask for assistance, if a hand is there.

My boyfriend (we live together) knows when I'm having a bad pain day. He does the laundry and brings it up to be folded, which I normally do, but on the REALLY bad days he'll fold, as well (against my better judgement). He cooks, he makes sure the kids take showers and get to bed on time. He bends down to scrub the bathtubs. I think the trick is to have someone who supports you every day...

My husband is very supportive. Somehow WE get meals cooked and laundry done. We have someone that comes in and cleans every 3 weeks. Can't afford it more often.
