I have been doing pretty good lately with no major flare ups but I have been experiencing major muscle aches and cramps, for lack of better description. Question is does anyone else get same thing? Hopefully my description makes sense. It is sort of like having muscle aches when you are sick not I am not.
@A MyFibroTeam Member .... The muscles in my legs feel as though they've been run over by a small car. The bruised feeling and the "cramps" hurt, but lately my calves feel like one solid rock. Hard to walk.
Body aches and muscle spasms are a fibro trait. Magnesium should help you with the muscles. I take magnesium but I also have to take flexeril to control them. Good luck and gentle hugs.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I am afraid the flu like feeling is typically Fibro. Feel good you can still work, even if you have to call in. Many of us are on disability. I have been dealing with terrible foot cramps on top of achy muscles and bad back. This truly sucks. I take Magnesium and MSM. The MSM helps to absorb the Magnesium. I also have generic Flexeril. but it doesn't always work. I'm sorry you are feeling bad. Take care of yourself.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I have the feet issue too, especially the heels. They it was probably plantar fascitis. Got so bad at one time I couldn't walk, literally. Had to call off work.
I take a muscle spasm med called baclofen along with my gabapentin to prevent my spasms and that helps a lot
