I know that might sound silly, but I've been watching video after video saying that juice fasting, with nothing but veggies and little fruit , has helped people with their chronic diseases, pain, etc. I also saw where a lot of people are against it. I think it works mainly because you're cutting all the caffeine, alcohol, and garbage out of your diet. Which you could do other ways but I just can't eat healthy. I always add cheese or ranch ( it is a problem). I'm not a salad eater. I'm… read more

Members discussed trying juice fasting to manage fibromyalgia symptoms, with mixed perspectives on whether juicing could replace medication or significantly reduce pain. One member shared a positive three-day experience, reporting increased energy, improved back pain, and feeling noticeably better after cutting out processed foods, caffeine, and alcohol, though they acknowledged that relaxation and time with family may have also contributed to feeling better. A recurring theme was the struggle between wanting natural solutions and the difficulty of maintaining healthy habits, with members offering mutual support and encouragement to try incorporating more vegetables into their diets, whether through juicing or other methods.

So I did the juicing for 3 days.it wasn't bad at all. I felt so great and had so much energy. I didn't realize how bad my diet was. How lethargic and crappy I felt everyday because of the food I was eating. My back pain honestly was better 2 out of three days. I was walking on the beach and spending time with my family so being relaxed probably had an effect on the pain. I lost 6 pounds in 3 days but I instantly gained it back haha because it was just water weight I was losing. I am going to try to get more veggies in everyday juicing. It makes me feel amazing after. I'd recommend a juice fast to anyone just trying to give their body a rest from the crap they usually put in their body and a way to start a new lifestyle of healthy eating

Want to start tomorrow? I am at the grocery store now. I got spinach kale celery ginger cucumbers different herbs to make a little kitchen garden, lemons apples and organic cayenne pepper just to give it a kick. I have Mason jars to keep juice in because apparently glass is better to store.

I know, that's one of my main problems, relying on pain medication too much, and when I don't have the pills it's a glass or two of wine every other night to help relax me and tension in back and neck. It's just catching up to me and I am tired of feeling like crap all the time. Going to try to give my body a break for at least 3 days, then keep off the dairy gluten and booze for a bit. THANKS FOR ANSWERS FOLKS 😊
