Does anyone else's partner say that your using your fibro as an excuse. I can't seem to get him to understand how bad the pain is sometimes and how tired I feel. Everytime I try to explain we end up arguing. Iv told him to read articles, which he says he has but it hasn't made a difference. I just don't know how I can make him understand.

I used to always wear a full face of make-up and make sure my hair was spot on every day. Then it became too much of an effort and I wore less and less. I was then told by my Ex that I was going without make-up on purpose to make it look as though I was ill !
I have to say that coping therapies have helped me. My mental health has suffered terribly but I have had some improvement from seeing a psychiatric therapist and have done group sessions on learning to cope with depression, CBT and other self help groups Learning to respect and believe in myself and to not worry about what other's think has been important too.

My husband has fibro also, so he understands. If you don't have it there is no way you could understand how bad it is. My sisters and friends don't understand!
