I use Zovirax for my cold sores and it works wonderfully for me, it even decrease the incidence of the cold sores. They say not to put too much on the cold sore site and especially not to rub the ointment on the site of the sore and to apply it as soon as you start feeling the thingling sensation .
Take my word for it, follow the instructions
to the letter , because otherwise it makes it worse. It even makes the recurrences less.
Great medication, here in Canada you need a medical prescription.

I'm so glad you asked that question because recently I've had a sudden increase in cold sores. I've always occasionally gotten one maybe once a year but in the last six months I will have four or five at a time inside my mouth. I don't know what it's from but it's frustrating!

I get mouth ulcers all of the time , it's not due to unhealthy eating I presume it is either a side effect of gabepentin or a symptom of the fibro ??? 😒
