My I have been on amitriplalean to help my sleep. now my dr. has me on cimbotra for my fibro, now she wants me off of the amitriplalean, because they do not want to play nice together that would harm me in a bad way. I am to see her on Monday to talk about what night med to put me on. If I do not take anything I am tired but all I do is toss and turn. Members shared a variety of sleep medications they use alongside fibromyalgia treatments, with trazodone emerging as the most commonly recommended option, often starting at 50mg and sometimes increased to 150mg for those with more severe sleep difficulties. Several members also mentioned Neurontin (gabapentin) and Restoril as effective alternatives, while multiple members strongly cautioned against Cymbalta, describing difficult withdrawal symptoms and questioning its effectiveness for fibro pain. A recurring theme was the critical importance of quality sleep for managing fibromyalgia symptoms, with members emphasizing that restful sleep helps the body heal and keeps pain levels more manageable.

I take cymbalta in the morning and trazadone at night. The trazadone will make you sleep and you won't be drowsily in the morming

I'm on trazadone for sleep. It's still an antidepressant but I was put on it as a sleep aid. I started with 50mg long ago before Fibromyalgia. Now with fibromyalgia it's harder to sleep and I also have sleep apnea. So my dosage is now 150mg. It works well for me.
Hope that helps a little.
Love and light with gentle hugs!
