oh yes @A MyFibroTeam Member IBS is terrible too. I love coffee, but sometimes it does not like me!! I think I have had IBS since childhood and it still goes from one extreme to the other...
I only drink one 8oz cup of coffee a day, that's it or it gets my IBS going
I mentioned about the post hysterectomy breat pain, but @A MyFibroTeam Member reminded me! I had a mammogram last year and had to go back for a diagnositc mammo and ultra sound of my right breast. It ended up being cysts that showed up on the mammogram, but the doctor came in and did the U/S. She told me that my breast would stop hurting if I slowed down on the caffeine intake. I have tried and it does seem to bother me more if I have tea. I try to stick to 1-2 cups of coffee, but sometimes I'll get a Cappuccino. I don't drink soda very often any more due to my weight loss surgery the carbination just about kills me. I hope this helps!! (((genlte hugs)))
Years ago before I had fibro I had horrible breast pain. My doctor told me to stop caffeine, I did and my breasts stop hurting. A few years later I started getting headaches, someone told me to drink Coke that helped them with their headaches. I did and it worked, but within 3 or 4 weeks my breasts started hurting again. So for me I know for sure my breast pain was related to caffeine
I had to have a hysterectomy in November of this year 2016. Because I was have those same problems. I pray that you get the right doctors. Keep doing your research and let them know you are part of your care team. I will be praying for you.
