Swollen Tongue
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone else experienced thesis tongue feeling swollen and big for your mouth.? When it happens my teeth hit the sides of my tongue and it's painful and annoying. Is there a cause of remedy for this.?

Well how in the heck do you get over? Is it allergic reaction to our meds?

@A MyFibroTeam Member, I didn't mean to laugh but I did as I read your little story! That burnt tongue feeling is definitely from Fibro cause it happens all the time with me for no rhyme nor reason! I couldn't believe when I first read about everyone that had the same sore tongue!! It has to be a part of Fibro!!

Did you ever get over that tongue thing? Mine is swollen and hurts. Feels like tongue is burnt. Think it's an allergic reaction from a med. trying vitamins and silver water in case it's bacterial or viral.

My Rheumatologist thinks I have the beginnings of Lupus but the blood work doesn't support it yet. I have off and on sores in my mouth and nose. The jaw pain that I had was from trigeminal neuralgia.
