This may be useful.. I get them all the time. Just a side note..if they give you Cipro for UTI ask for something else.. It has major warnings about causing tendon damage and you already hurt enough!

, fibromyalgia is an exceedingly complicated disorder with a laundry list of symptoms that involve nearly every system in the body. The urinary system is no exception. Urinary tract infections (UTIs) and disorders are yet another piece of the puzzle that may need to solve in order to get you feeling better. In fact, about 25% of my fibromyalgia patients have chronic urinary tract infections or what interstitial cystitis (painful bladder syndrome). Many also have problems with incontinence (inability to hold urine) and urinary retention (inability to pass urine). It is more common, however, that people with these chronic conditions will suffer from UTIs.

Please do not drink cranberry juice as this will only make your bladder worse. 60 % of all people with fibro have IC ( Interstitial cystitis) it starts off like a bladder infection; not to scare you but it is one of the most painful condition known to mankind.. If you need anymore info please let me know x. .

yes i have ! if you are prone to have bladder infections drink cranberry juice ! it does not take it away it just helps to keep them from coming ! but it can turn into a bladder infection and then kidney infection ! drink lots of water , but you need some antibiotics to take it away ! love peace and GODS BLESSINGS be upon you ! always michele

Oh I forgot to add stay away from caffine; and personally for me drinking more than a small amount of water makes my IC flare up more?????
