When I do it feels like the food or drink is stuck in the middle of my upper back/spine. I was thinking maybe it's tight muscles and it's all connected but now I'm starting to get nervous about it.

@A MyFibroTeam Member - that is exactly how I feel. I'm going to mention it to my doctor but I was imagining all sorts of things. Thank you!

My swallowing is ok but have had food get caught midway down the oesophagus and it feels like it is stuck as you say in the "middle of my upper back spine". When I attempt to drink water to force the blockage to go back down- the water comes straight back up. Not a pleasant feeling at all.
