Is This 2x4 Stomach/diaphragm Pain Normal?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

For over a year now I've been getting these pains, they're originally what made me go to the doctor in the first place. Best way I can describe it is like having a 2x4 hitting me across my stomach and diaphragm. Is this normal with Fibromyalgia or is this something else?

if there is sharp pain on right side, just below ribs, might want to have your gallbladder checked.

I will get burning, stabbing pains in my abs/stomach area. It moves around and can end up in the diaphragm area.. I have had FM for over 8 years. My research over the years has confirmed this is a symptom...that is, if I'm understanding your question.

Um no I don't think it's normal with fibro at all. Maybe something to do with ibs. But I would see a doctor. God forbid it's something really wrong. Pain like that is never normal

Thank you, I'm still learning about this illness and haven't been able to find it in my research.
