Does Anyone Else Fall Asleep As Soon As Their Head Hits The Pillow?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I fall asleep exhausted in a deep sleep for roughly 3/4 hrs, then I'm awake for the rest of the night dosing off and on. Any suggestions? I'm so tired! I've tried laying in bed and dosing off and on, I've tried getting up having a hot drink and then going back to bed. But still can't get back to sleep. Some days I manage to have an hours nap in the day but if I'm working that's impossible. The lack of sleep makes the fybro worse it's a visious circle!. Does anyone have any tips that work for… read more

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea last year, been on CPAP since dec, still don't sleep well. Its not a miracle cure and doesn't help all sleep issues. I have less apneas, but it hasn't helped my other issues at all

I have suffered from sleep problems for the last 30+ years. Many years ago my Doctor sent me for hypnosis. Got the 1 hr I was under but did nothing to improve my sleep. I have tried Lavender but it gives me headaches. I am always exhausted, I usually get up and watch tv, crocheting have made many blankets for folk lol or read a book unfortunately I have a binge eating disorder (as they call it) and what do I go to when I get stressed when awake FOOD!!! My recent Doctor has put my name down for going to one of those sleep clinics. I have been waiting 6 mths she did warn me I would have a long wait. I hope to hear what others have found to help!!

@A MyFibroTeam Member as far as I know I don't have the things you have suggested but if It continues I will certainly look into it thank you x @A MyFibroTeam Member I know what you mean, our fybro brains give us no idea of time and we suffer for longer periods than we realise. Last night as usual I slept until 1a.m came downstairs so as not to disturb b/f who has work this morning. By 4 a.m he crept under the blanket on the living room floor to keep me company. I paused the film I was watching so as not to disturb him but he said no carry on watching it I will go back to sleep here. So sweet. I dosed a bit more but not enough I'm shattered still and it's only half way through the afternoon. @A MyFibroTeam Member I will definatly try the lavender on my feet I'm allergic to everything so will steer clear on my neck πŸ™„ But thanks X @A MyFibroTeam Member a problem shared if only it was a problem halved hugs xxx @A MyFibroTeam Member it's lovely to hear from a fellow sufferer who has a positive attitude 100%of the time. Reading your profile you are a credit to the illness. Having had a few bad months my halo is slipping. My positive attitude has slipped, my healthy eating has fallen I'm still, caffeine, chocolate, aspartaine free but find myself turning to red wine more and more. I know it's counter productive I need more exercise to feel more positIve and less tired but I ache too much and I'm too tired to get myself motivated. I'm in a rut ATM. I'm usually the motivator but the pain and tiredness has got me down for now.

Try some lavender essential oils. Rub on feet and back of neck. I'm out, but when I have it, it really helps.
