I love doing puzzles. Then, if I'm feeling real crafty, I'll do a modified painting of the puzzle. Those make great gifts for Christmas! Little inexpensive frames with a hand painted picture in a homemade gift box of decoupage. My grands love it! Even the boys love the glitter from Grammie!

I am a quilt maker and find it so relaxing. Sometimes however my hands won't allow me to sew but machine work is easier! X

I take my camera outside and find that it totally takes my mind off my pain. That is if I am able to get around depending on pain/ weather here in Scotland. If that is not possible I do some crocheting. I can't follow patterns too much for my fibro brain so I make blankets. My 4 kids have now got large ones and I have made several for our 3 gorgeous Grandson's. We have a little Granddaughter due in Jan so I am working on that. Then I hope to make some for some charities. I have been recommended doing some of those adult colouring books which I have used too.

I absolutely LOVE to read! Historical fiction, some of which is based on fact, (Christian), stories about the Amish, (I am fascinated by their sense of community), true stories about animals, some autobiographies, biographies. When I say historical fiction, I mean like the Little House On The Prairie time period, or the Civil War period, (even though I don't like violence), when the Canadian Mounties first started, also during the 17th, 18th and 19th periods.
I like doing find a word puzzles too.
I have pen friends from Canada, the USA, the UK, Jamaica, but I've been so slack in writing them back. I have had cataract surgery which has gone on to cause some other sight issues.
I love to cross stitch, but I'm having some sight issues right now so can't stitch.
I also love to shop, but that is definitely limited. My pension only stretches so far, and I can only walk so far before I am in absolute agony!
I usually try to combine the two Cross stitch and shopping. I can get a cross stitch kit or pattern and make them into presents for birthdays and Christmas. It helps to keep costs down.
