I have had 4 tattoos and I did not experience any lasting pain from them. Just felt like scratching while they were doing it and not much afterwards. Tattoo artists are pretty interesting people and they may be able to give the experience of the needle without the ink before going ahead with the actual tattoo. That way you could assess how you might feel and decide if it is for you. Wouldn't hurt to ask and I am sure they would do this for you if you explain your situation. Good luck!

Since I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia I had1 tattoo inner wrist and it only felt like little bee stings. However it's the only tattoo I have so I have nothing to compare it to

I have had 5 tattoos since being diagnosed but the one that caused me the most pain was on my lower back. I have never felt pain like it, I had to go back a few times as I just couldn't stand the pain too long.xx
