I have been so tired lately. I don't remember being this tired! I also don't remember ever doing as much as I do now with my fibro. But I am falling asleep between 8 and 9 o'clock at night on the couch. I am almost facing asleep at my desk at work while I work. I don't know if I am doing to much or if it is just a flare, or if my fibro is getting worse. My doctor wants me to get checked for a thyroid condition.

Fibromyalgia is an extraordinary condition. The chronic fatigue factor knocks me off my feet. Each morning when I wake up, I try not too move for ages if at all possible. Of late I need to stay in bed some days until lunchtime. Most days I need to have an afternoon rest. Rest, meditation, turmeric, gentle exercise helps.

My fatigue is horrendous and even when my pain is down.. and yes my doc checked me for thyroid but it was within normal range.
But I keep thinking that they are all missing something and there will be some little thing somewhere in me that will be waving a little red flag saying it's me!! I'm causing all this!!! Mwwaaahahaaa!! 😐😞

Definitely get your thyroid checked. Try to pace yourself with regards to activity if possible or the pain will increase and fatigue will occur.

@A MyFibroTeam Member for the last 3 months or so I have been dealing with severe exhaustion similar to what you described. I am a full time college student. As hard as it is, I try to be in bed by 11pm or 12am. This allows me to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep. I've been sleeping better most nights thanks to a new medicine, but usually i still have trouble staying awake during my classes. By 4 or 5 pm I feel so weak and groggy that I can hardly eat dinner or get anything done. I have not be diagnosed with any thyroid conditions, I thought I was just going through a flare (especially since fall weather is here). I hope your check up goes well and you get answers. Soft hugs xx
