Does anyone have a carpal tunnel-like syndrome? I have done the test and the doctor told me I don't have carpal tunnel but my hands, most especially my right hand, most used, its always inflame even when I use hand brace. What did your doctor told you? What you doing to solve the problem or reduce pain? Thanks in advance!
Research stretching exercises for arm, wrist, fingers. Heat first to warm muscles, stretch, then finish with cold pack.
Mine wasn't carpal tunnel but pherinal neuropathy...same systems...tingling, pins and needles, cramps, drop things...some days are just better than others....
I've had it for over 30 years- ever since my first job. My rheumatologist diagnosed it in July. Told me to try wearing the braces to see if that helps. If it doesn't it would be surgery next. I never asked a doctor about it before because I had been told by people that just because you have a surgery- it can still come back again if you are doing the same things- which I was.
I have moderate carpal tunnel in both hands. Don't do anything for it just tolerate. MD said if gets worse to go back in.
I had it on my left wrist. I got lucky and broke my wrist and they had to operate and fixed it at the same time. Wear the brace and rub Vicks on it. Believe it or not Vicks works wonders.
