Sounds very similar to me @A MyFibroTeam Member, I have problems at work too - I work in retail and we have huge fluorescent lights, can turn off ones above till but can't do anything about the rest! Now I've got my new glasses that look like normal specs but are made up of 5 different lenses I can wear those at work - they have a calming effect on my eyes and have reduced my migraines - good luck and gentle hugs xx
I have this. The sun hurts my eyes I put my hand on top of my eyes just to see. I get headaches from the sun n some kinds of lights. When I got to physical therapy I can't look at there lights. N I wear glasses I don't have the money to transitions .
Thank you Annette, hi Susan, its happened bad again today and started me off a headache, last time this happened I had a 4 day migraine, I am going to have to speak to my optitions and doctor i think
Hi Tori,
I don't have too many issues with light sensitivity normally although sometimes find I squint at first when I emerge into bright sunlight.
Sound sensitivity is my thing. When I am a bit stressed, under the weather or in a flare I cannot filter out background noise so I have to seek out a silent place or go slowly round the bend!
Annette xx
Me too! I'm always wearing sunglasses outside and I have to place my hand over top of them to keep from having to shut my eyes. I’m also sensitive to fluorescent lights too. My work was nice enough that they unscrewed the fluorescent light bulb that’s directly above my desk. I use a lamp that puts out yellow light instead of the bright white. I also have trouble driving at night due to the other drivers lights and some street lights even. I do my best NOT to drive at night.
