Do Any Of You Get A Lacy Rash (Livedo Reticularis) In The Sun And Do Not Have Lupus?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi! I'm being followed for possible lupus (to go with my fibro), but I read (on the link below) that people with fibro also can get a lacy type rash from sun exposure, and not just people with lupus. Anybody else get this? Here's a link for more info. http://www.patienthelp.org/diseases-conditions/...

Thanks, @A MyFibroTeam Member. My blood work is confusing. ANA 640, and the only other factor is my anti-histone anitbodies which are high. But those represent drug induced lupus, except I'm not taking any drugs to cause drug induced lupus.

The rheumy is uncertain if I have lupus or RA... since my blood work is not giving many clues, we have to wait and see. (I have a sister who has severe RA but her blood work shows a negative RA factor). Meanwhile I'm on plaquenil to see if that helps. All of what I am feeling could be from the fibro! As long as they are taking me seriously and working to relieve my symptoms, I am grateful.
