I'm trying to get some ideas for quick and relatively easy foods during flare-ups.

Home cooked soup encompasses everything. It has vegetables, liquid and meat. I always make a large pot of bone broth. To make the bone broth I use chicken bones, celery, carrots, onions and garlic. When the broth is finished I strain it which leaves me the bone broth. If I am making soup out of the broth I will add veggies and herbs. I put it into serving size baggies and freeze. Out of one pot I usually get at least 10 to 14 one cup servings. Perfect for lunch, dinner or snack.

I also make large pots of chili and package the same way as the soup. My last batch of chili created 14 servings.

I always have soup and chili in the freezer.

I keep foods that are anti-inflammatory and high in antioxidants to help me on my tough days. Bone broth is also fantastic for your body and easy to make when you are having a bad day.

Fibre bars. I get them on sale whenever I can. They are wonderful.
