Recently I have started to feel itchy all over at random times. It's an intense itchy feeling and can get really frustrating especially when trying to sleep. Does anyone else go through this and if so has anything helped relief?

Members widely related to the frustrating experience of intense, all-over itching that often feels random and disrupts sleep, with many describing sensations like bugs crawling on the skin even when nothing is there. Several members shared practical relief strategies, including switching to fragrance-free products like Aveeno body wash and stress relief lotion, taking antihistamines like Benadryl, avoiding shower nets that stimulate the lymph system, and using cool showers or back scratchers for immediate comfort. A recurring theme was that this itching is often a nerve issue rather than a skin problem, and while some remedies help certain people, it remains a persistent and maddening symptom that requires ongoing trial and error to manage.

i did for quite some time. it took a lot of trial & error but I now use aveeno body wash and aveeno lotion. I stay away from anything with fragrance. i found the aveeno stress relief lotion to be the best . it has lavender, chamomile and yiang-yiang. very nice

I do when I come in from working outside. I began to think I was allergic to the sun or there were small bugs (can't see ums) on my body. When I come in I have to shower and I feel better. Not sure what is going on.

Yes! Feels like bugs crawling. I've tried lotions, but it's not a skin problem. It's a nerve problem. Benadryl doesn't work for me.
