Does Anyone See A Difference Between The Seasons With Their Fibro? I Used To Be Great In The Summer But Not This Year!
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

This is the first year I don't feel better in spring and summer. Usually, the pain was less and I didn't have fatigue. Just wondering if people with different seasons are affected like this.

I notice the pain is a lot worse when the weather is not so good. I am currently taking part in research on how the weather affects chronic pain disorders. It is an app called Cloudy With A Chance Of Pain. You do not get anything for taking part but it could help others in the future as a lot of us know the weather has an impact on pain but apparently this has not yet been scientifically proven. Best wishes 😊

...and to Think that my husband doesn't believe me when I tell him I can feel the weather changes! It makes me think of the animals species who can feel when for example a tsunami is coming. I wonder if they feel it their bodies like we do?

Try checking to see if barometric pressure is dropping where u live That's what does it for me It's usually humid when the pressure is dropping I can send a drop from 30.06 to 30.03 and I start hurting when I was feeling awesome just minutes before Try it I use this website http://w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KJSO.html just google past three days weather observations for your city I dare you to try it

This is an ever changing, worsening & "smart" disease. Might find some thing that will help for a week to a couple year. Then it's like this condition takes a zigzag,& we no longer get relief.Mine started out winter & cold made it worse. Last 10 years, any & all weather changes will worsen my condition at least 1 day,& I start getting horrible pain in normal pain points & all points in between. The stupid "authorities" that claim this isn't a progressively worsening disease are blind, deaf, dumb & refuse to see what is right in front of them!
