Members shared mixed perspectives on whether the hepatitis B vaccine might be linked to fibromyalgia, with most saying they either never received the vaccine or developed symptoms years before or after vaccination, often attributing their fibro to injuries, family history, or arthritis instead. One member described experiencing severe fibromyalgia symptoms eight weeks after their final hepatitis B shot and shared a 2015 article suggesting a potential connection, though this remains a debated and under-researched topic. A recurring theme was the community's openness to exploring different theories about fibromyalgia's origins while acknowledging that causes vary widely from person to person, with most members expressing skepticism about blaming vaccines broadly.

I doubt it as I am 66 yrs. old and believe my symptoms of fibro. began around age 30. I had a very bad car accident at age 28 and had chronic pain in my neck, back and everywhere else also!! They didn't have the Hep vaccine that long and fibro. has been going on forever!

I started having symptoms of fibro 8 weeks after having my final Hep b vaccine.
My doctor showed me some studies that had been done that directly links this vaccine to fibro and cfs

I had no family history of it, no arthritis in the family, no previous injury or accident.
I literally woke up one morning in severe pain and couldn't raise my arms to get dressed or brush my hair.
I got an emergency doctor appointment and there and then my doctor told me about fibromyalgia (I had never heard of it), and then she mentioned that I had had the Hep b vaccine and that a link was being studied. This was in 2009!
Jump ahead to 2015 and that study found answers!

Everyone I have talked to has fibromyalgia from an injury. I didn't have an injury I was told someone in my family had lupus and it stems from that
