At most; how much can you work out or exercise. What's your highest limit (now that you're sick)
Until October of 2015 I was riding my bike 10 miles 3 day's a week, doing water aerobics for an hour 2 times a week, walking on the treadmill for 1 hour 5-6 day's a week, and on good day's I would walk 5 miles. I had surgery in October an had to stay away from the gym. Now that I am able to go back I will be taking baby steps so I don't hurt myself. Going to the gym for me was very beneficial. I had minimal pain, my flares were for 1-2 days and no as severe as before, and minimal issues with fibro fog.
I have found I get a lot of relief from lifting heavyweight free weights for a good few hours'but it comes with a heavy price ! For 5 days after working out I am in much more pain and fully exhausted for days,so I have to weigh the good and bad from it ,but I keep pushing through it all day in and day out hoping for a cure! Warm gentle hugs your way :-)
I try every other day if I can
I was a well known athlete. I spent 3-4 hours a day working out at high intensity. Now I have difficulty walking. I do swim and while I'm in the pool I feel no pain. I think it wakes up your body and gets stuff moving.
I was told walking and swimming are the best things to do. I do lots of walking but hate swimming so not even bothered with that
