I honestly don't know, but vit D deficiency and calcium deficiency nearly killed me two years ago. My levels were so dangerously low my heart started misbehaving. I had emergency treatment of 600,000iu of vit D every day for three months now I'm on a maintenance dose. I think, maybe, a study needs to be done on the correlation of deficiency and fibro. Then maybe people will take us more seriously. I'm lucky my consultant and GP are good and believe me, at last. There's nothing they can give me to help my pain but they are as helpful s they can be and don't treat me like a waste of space. Kind hugs to everyone who's got fibro. We need a bit of gentleness sometimes xxx
