I had my 1st lidocaine infusion yesterday. Strangest experience I've ever had. Yesterday was a day off relief, pain free. Today I hurt some. They said the 1 st one would only last a few days,2nd maybe a week, 3rd maybe 2 weeks. All in all I think it went well. I felt very numb, awake but couldn't move type feeling. I'm getting ready to schedule my second one.
I get them. They usually add Toradal, Vit. B and Magnesium too. Once a month at my pain clinic. It brings the pain down a point maybe 2 on the pain scale if u r lucky. They just don't last that long.
Scheduled for my first infusion on the 26 th. I'll let you know how it goes!!!
I could get them weekly if I wanted to pay outta pocket. I went to an MD who also did alternative medicine and I ended up getting prescribed Vit. B12 injections 2xday. So I had to do them in my hip. I actually think I would do those again cuz they helped with fatigue
I have never heard of it. If you decide please let us know. I have had trigger point injections.
