My insomnia makes it difficult to sleep. Now trying to sleep has become a source of anxiety because the bad dreams leave me uncomfortable when I wake up. So I am almost afraid to sleep because I have only dark, bad dreams. Does anyone else experience this?

Fortunately I don't have insomnia. I have a major problem with low energy along with pain. I take Citalopram and Gabapenten. It may be the medication that you take, causing the insomnia and nightmares. Ask your Doctor.
