Has Anyone Had Pain And Pressure In Your Head, Like Behind The Ears, The Temples And On Top Of The Head?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone had pain and pressure in your head, like behind the ears, the temples and on top of the head? I do not believe they are migraines like someone has suggested because its not like a headache its just pain and pressure in different parts of my head at different times. Also it is not the same as brain zaps as I experience those as well. I have to go have an MRI but just wanted to know if anyone else experiences this kind of pain...

glad to hear I'm not alone in this issue. I've had fibromyalgia for 2 years and it that part never happened until like 3 days ago. I thought maybe I have some kind of brain problem and had no idea that it was associated with fibromyalgia until I talk to my rheumatologist just about 30 minutes ago. I'm still going to get a head MRI just to reassure myself that there is not something else greater that could be causing the problem.

I've have the "coming and going" head itchy sensation at the top right of my head, as well as a pressure feeling you spoke of which also comes and goes. The head thing just started about a week ago. I do notice the trigger points in various locations on the head as well. I have had the trigger points in various locations throughout the body that i've been contending with for quite a while. But the "head thing" is new and I've been wondering about it.

Occasionally I wil get a "headache" on the very back top of my head. Like the location of the soft spot on babies heads. But it only hurts there and only when I barely touch it. Like a bruise but ita not a bruise. I dont hot my head or have an accident. Occurs about 1 a week for about 12 hours.

Yes, I get this too. I've had this the last couple days but now it's only on the right side of my head, towards the back and behind my ear.
