Hi love!
My daughter lives in Ohio. If I were you, I'd research all of the rheumatologists in your area to see who specializes in fibro. Not every one of them know about it or don't believe that it's even a true condition. Blessings!
First of all you need to get a lawyer and start your disability any little amount will help and you can still work part-time well on it that should help you a little bit also if you're on disability you can get Medicare and Medicaid which will pay for your medications I know mine are free I don't even have a co-pay and my sister who is also disabled due to stage 4 cancer only has to pay $2 for hers it will take awhile to get on it so the sooner you start the better. Good luck my prayers are out there for you
Wish I could help Krissy but so far I haven't found one. The closest I came was a Rheumatologist . She told me to get on disability as I am getting worse working, but my husband makes just enough money I can't. I haven't enough paid in as I was self employed for so long. She was very expensive. She tried me on Lyrica but didn't work for me plus it was 300.00 a month and I couldn't afford it. I wish you much luck and send love and prayers...
I wish i had a good one for you but my doesn't seem to listen to me very well. The one Dr I really liked left the offices & moved to New York. My Dr seems to want to push drugs that I don't need.
Last night I googled fibromyalgia in Illinois (where I am) and there were several sites that popped up drs and pain clinic's that treat and help manage fibromyalgia. I was looking for support groups or anything going on to support fibromyalgia as in fund raisers or get together maybe Google what and where you are. And see what comes up I know my family Dr has been amazing and helped but understand that I am lucky and fortunate
