My doctors want me to take a pill for anxiety and depression and a separate pull for my fibromyalgia pain. Is that normal to have two different medications and if so what have you'll tried? I have got to get something that works together.

Savella worked great for me at first and took away my pain but I gained 13 pounds in a month, was hungry all the time and wound up in the Emergency room with serotonin syndrome. Needless to say I wean off. I take Zoloft for depression and a combination of pain meds. Tylenol, sulfathalazine, meloxicam and turmeric. I still have body pain but other meds not worth the side effects. Hope you find what works for you.

I would say don't take Cymbalta, I started weaning off of it after being on 60mg for almost 2 years. I'm going thru horrible withdrawals for the last 30 hours 😢

I take Pristiq 100 mg in the morning for depression/anxiety (as well as for fibro), along with amitriptyline 20 mg at bedtime for insomnia. Both seem to be working well! Best of luck to you! xx

I take Gabapentin and Amytriptaline! I would avoid Lyrica for a long term solution- I was on it for 10 years for Allodynia and it caused a number of unpleasant side effects and the withdrawal was horrendous!

I take lyrica and wellbutren helps me, but it does cause dry mouth. Good luck and God bless.
