Your understandably scared but don't let fear put your life at risk, these things are usually something very simple e.g your hard stools are scapping tissue and causing you to bleed. Make an appointment today, we are all with you xxx

Maybe its your medication? Things like opiates and other analgesia cause this, DON,T ignore it, ask your g.p about having your meds in an effervescent/soluble type and take a stool sample with you for testing, soluble meds have a gentle laxative affect, BUT do this via a medic or pharmacist.

Also see your doctor. This could be the result of whatever meds you are taking and there are treatments for it. If you want to try something else go for probiotics and forre start out slow and work your way in dosage as you feel better.. Don't like the blood although that might be from your stools being so hard and tearing tissue. But this could also be from colon cancer. Go to the Dr.

Eat papaya! I have constipation/IBS as well. I make fruit smoothie in mornings with papaya, pineapple, orange, & whatever other fruits you'd like. Also add flax seed which is high in fiber.
