Does Anyone Ever Experience Sudden Jerks In Your Limbs?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I find that at any point in the day or night I have jerks happen. I just had one while typing this. It happens during sleep, awake. I never know when it is going to happen. The other night it happened in my sleep. It was so strong I thought the bed broke and woke up my husband. I actually checked to make sure the bed was in tact.

Yes all the time 24/7. They are called benign fasciculation Syndrome. It's common in fibro. I hate it!! Mine does it continuously.

I had jerking, feeling of bugs crawling on me, knives stabbing me, twitching, etc. My rheumatologist finally put me on Tomamax to give me some relief. It has made a huge difference.

I used to have them all the time. Many times a day...several dozen. They were worse at night. They stopped about two years ago. Don't know why they started or why they stopped. Glad they did,,,hope they don't call me back
