A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was wondering if anyone else constantly itches as if something is crawling under your skin.
I've been like this on n off for weeks and it's driving me crazy!!

There is something in the environment causing this. I also had to use a different laundry detergent. When this happens try to remember what you just ate or what you did before it happened.

Wow you gals are great. So far I have taken to rubbing coconut oil all over have put pure virgin oil in my hair (just a dab on wet hair and gets rid of my very curtly red hair fuzzy ball head) as for blurry vision my eyes get a film on them so I have to use artificial tears constantly. Not sure if from meds wifi mold. I do have a salt lamp that is on all the time.
Hell if it's not a six of one/half of another with this condition.
I will definitely do some investigating on my own.
Thanks so much for some Avenue to go down to figuring out what is causing this and a few other things I hadn't thought of.

Yes! To the point of scratching till I bleed. A combination of antihistamine, itch relief cream and a cold flannel on the offending area with a cold fan too seems to help.

I use coconut oil after a shower and hydrocortizone cream on the skin and also Vanacream. Sometimes itching is caused by low kidney function too. Check with your doctor to rule out underlying problems. Drink lots of water. If your labs are normal then dry skin can cause this.
