Lymph Nodes
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone else get swollen lymph nodes in their groin and behind the knees? I've been in more pain than usual in the last two days and today I noticed that my lymph nodes were sore and swollen.

Welcome to FM! If there is one thing that I have learned, that is that this disease is completely odd and crazy. I feel like I have had it all. When I was in high school I had a gland that swelled up behind my right ear and it really hurt. My mother told me to get over it. Later in life I had these little glands swell in my labia. They were the size of an eraser on tom of a pencil.

I have been personally experiencing that same thing in my groin for the past 4-5 years, but it comes and it goes. Recently it became worse in the past month were the pain was becoming unbearable to even walk. The doctors were not sure why, so they decided ti do a biopsy just to be sure everything was fine. Thank GOD it was!!! Doctor said it was just inflammation so it may be another symptom of the condition but again this I am not sure for certain since everyone's experience is different. I recommend going to your doctors if its not better in the next few days.
