What Medication Do You Take For Your Pain And What Side Effects Do You Have From It?

I have been taking cymbalta which helps with my pain some but I'm tired of the side effects! I'm always sweating and at night I sweat through my clothes (sometimes twice as I change during the night). I have ibs also so I have bad constipation. Just curious what different options are for relief besides cymbalta.

That sounds like fibro symptoms not side effects.

I have been taking Savella for 5 years now and it works well for me. They had me on Lyrica and Cymbalta together, one to counteract the other. They made me sick, the side effects are worse with them. I haven't been suffering with side effects from Savella.

I take Linzess and it is a miracle for IBS constipation. It is an Rx. I tried that after trying everything natural without success.

@A MyFibroTeam Member, Does anything help with the excessive sweating? Even if it's another med? I'm desperate, but not enough to try stopping the Cymbalta. ...

I've also been prescribed Linzess for my IBS and I think it was helpful. Also Dexilant.
