So I started taking Cymbalta a little over a week ago. My dr. started me out on 30 mg a day and then after a week I was to go up to 60 mg. I started on 60 mg a day two days ago. @A MyFibroTeam Member, Lcaldw, Bear, Honey, Kristine, and Hope, I have taken almost all of the antidepressants except for Lyerica (due to stomach) and feel that Cymbalta is the worse. The zaps in the head, nausea, brain fog, leg and arm jerks, migraines, and these side effects are only the ones I can recall. I was on 12 different drugs in 2009 and such a mess I couldn't take care if myself. With my new doctor I gradually got off if them. I encourage you to get off of them as for instance Cymbalta now has a law suit brought against them. But, you must not just stop taking these powerful drugs.
I couldn't successfully take this drug due to bad side effects. I also had a horrible withdrawal event. Maybe your body is telling you something.
There are several patients that are sueing Lilly the Mfg. due to permanent side effects. You should check this out before you continue.
Couldn't Handel Cymbalta quit cold turkey side affect where worse then the pain
I take 60mg also, but I take one 30mg in the morning and one at night. I don't seem to have any side effect taking it that way.
